As a recent graduate of Louisiana State University, where I earned a bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in French, I can sympathize with my students about the trials and tribulations of being a student. However, I love to learn and teach, and I am happy to be able to continue working as a tutor. I began tutoring while I was still a student at LSU. I worked as a tutor for two years, helping biology students with upper-level courses. I also spent a year working with high school students to improve their French and chemistry skills. I know that each student has different reasons for wanting or needing tutoring, and I work with my students to determine their unique learning style and how I can best help them. I love to watch my students overcome their difficulties in challenging subjects. I can tutor many different subjects, including all levels of math, from elementary school to high school, biology, chemistry, both organic and inorganic, physics, French at all levels, critical thinking skills, and test preparation for advanced placement, undergraduate, and graduate placement, like the MCAT, GRE, and AP-level courses. In my spare time, I love playing tennis and basketball.
